Here’s just a little bit about us…
Who Are Jack & Nichola?
Nichola and I live together in Bournemouth, a stone’s throw from the beach, with our dog, Reuben.
We originally met working at the same company and perhaps unsurprisingly, we both started out life as your typical telesales people.
Over the years, our roles have evolved, but we’ve always stayed within the sales and sales management arena, which we love.
However, everything changed in 2021.
We started implementing some new telesales ideas and techniques and as a result, began to see significant improvements in the three core areas that make the biggest difference to any business’s bottom line.
And so at the start of 2022, we took the plunge <gulp> and set up “Phone Science”.
To say “we’re excited about the future” is a MASSIVE understatement!

Mindset… Without the right mindset, your sales agent is never going to be consistent and frankly, they probably won’t last long in the job.
Building Trust… this is key in all telesales conversations and the only way to encourage honesty and open mindedness from your customers.
Adaptation… because in any conversation your team needs to be able to adapt and react quickly to keep your customers on track.
The Art of Conversation… these are the core skills that enable your sales agent to communicate effectively with your customers.
The Missing Link
Sales agents are often misunderstood.
There’s this automatic assumption they are motivated by one thing… money and as a result, conversations and coaching are often geared around “money”.
But in many of the conversations we’ve had with agents, money is NOT the main motivator!
Often it’s a desire to progress within a company, to feel a sense of self-worth, or value. Or maybe the motivation is time, or freedom, or any number of things… of which “money” may only be a part.
The missing link, therefore, is the need to understand a sales agent’s true motivators… what makes them tick?
Once you know this, you can mould an incredible salesforce, that achieves high conversions and who are happy in their job.

Why We Love What We Do
That’s simple.

We’ve therefore made it our mission to help sales agents achieve more, so they love their job and of course, the company loves them in return.
